Edmond Rotarians play chess with students

EDMOND — Ida Freeman Elementary School has won the state championship 32 years in a row. They recently played chess with the Edmond Rotary Club, according to a news release.

In the fall, the school's kindergarten and first-grade clubs each won state honors, and in the spring, the kindergarten-through-fourth-grade team won state and a separate kindergarten-through-sixth-grade team also won state.

The individual top state winners are both from Ida Freeman.
