Oklahoma Vice: Night at Topgolf ends in indecency arrests
A man and woman were wearing little and remembered even less when they were arrested after a night of drinking at Topgolf in Oklahoma City.
Haley Harris, 27, was clad in just a bra and leggings and Matthew Martin, 24, of Edmond, was wearing nothing at all when an Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy happened upon the pair, walking walking down Memorial Road near Meridian Road around 1:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
A car, registered to Martin's father, was located about half a mile away, upside down in a ditch. Martin said he could not remember driving or crashing the vehicle.
"When asked why they were naked, both individuals stated they did not remember," Mark Opgrande, spokesman for the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, "They did say they had been at Topgolf earlier and been drinking alcoholic beverages. They also did not remember how they got to the location where the deputy found them."
The two were booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on suspicion of public drunkenness and public indecency early Sunday.
Martin was released from jail shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday. Harris was released around 10 p.m. Sunday, just in time to celebrate her 27th birthday on Monday.
