Event to help hospital programs

EDMOND — The Edmond Kiwanis Club will present its Aiming for Miracles Sporting Clay Event from noon to 5 p.m. April 21 at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports, 8513 S Douglas Blvd. in Guthrie. Proceeds benefit the Children's Hospital Foundation pediatric and endocrinology programs at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma City. Registration, which is $600 for a team of four and $150 for an individual, includes lunch, protective eye and ear wear, shotgun shells and a mandatory safety training session. School foundation plans meeting

Library to offer story time

GUTHRIE — Story time for children 5 and younger is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Guthrie Library. Programs include stories, songs, rhymes, crafts and more. An Easter party is planned for this week, and RSVP is requested. There will be no story time on April 26.
