'North by Northwest' to return to theaters in April
The Alfred Hitchcock classic "North by Northwest" will return to theaters for two days in April.
The suspense film starring Cary Grant will be shown at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time on Sunday, April 2, and Wednesday, April 5. Tickets are available at https://www.fathomevents.com/.
In the film, Grant plays Roger O. Thornhill, a fast-talking ad executive who is mistaken for a murderous spy. A wild chase ensues, including the memorable scene in which Thornhill is chased by a crop-dusting plane.
Here's a description of the film from Fathom Events:
Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason and Martin Landau give fast and furious chase across the country, from the skyscrapers of Manhattan to the dizzying peaks of Mount Rushmore, set to the music of Bernard Herrmann, vibrant VistaVision cinematography -- and, in this special presentation, new commentary from TCM's Ben Mankiewicz both before and after the film.
