Edmond district to hold forum

EDMOND — Edmond Public Schools will hold a public forum from 7 to 8 p.m. March 28 in the board of education room at the district administrative center, 1001 W Danforth. The forum is a time for members of the school board, central office and site administrators to listen to accolades, ideas or concerns from parents, students and community members. No preregistration is required. Participants should sign up the night of the event and will be called to the podium in order of sign-up. Each speaker is limited to five minutes. Landscape work to close lanes

NORMAN — The Parks and Recreation Department will perform landscape maintenance on Tuesday in the median of Flood Avenue between Robinson and Lexington streets. The left lanes of north- and southbound Flood will be closed in that area from 9 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. Traffic devices direct motorists. In the event of inclement weather, the maintenance might be postponed to a later date.

Choctaw to mark Frontier Days

CHOCTAW — Choctaw Frontier Days are set for April 20-21 at Choctaw Creek Park, 2001 N Harper St. Attractions will include American Indian fancy dancers and traditional cowboy camps. For more information, call 390-8198.
