Edmond students join in celebrating Dr. Seuss

EDMOND — Students in Edmond and across the United States celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss's birthday is one of the largest literacy events of the year. The theme of the day is Read Across America.

Read Across America is sponsored by the National Education Association, as well as other organizations.

Edmond Public Schools Superintendent Bret Towne served green eggs and ham to Clegern Elementary School students during the nationwide celebration.
