DC Kids debuts on YouTube, mobile app
Young superhero fans can get a peek behind the curtain with "DC Kids," a new original YouTube series created to share short form content with younger fans.
Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) debuted the premiere episode today in partnership
with DC Entertainment. New episodes will premiere every Friday.
“We’re excited to partner with DC Entertainment and Telepictures to bring this all-new YouTube
series to kids who love the DC Universe,” said Maryellen Zarakas, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Franchise Management and Marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, in a news release. “DC Kids is a major part of our strategy to deliver original short form content for kids. DC Kids represents our latest effort, joining other great original animated shorts for DC Super Hero Girls and Justice League Action. Kids will be able to catch DC Kids on YouTube, DCKids.com, and on the go with an all-new Justice League Action mobile app.”
The mobile app Justice League Action: Run features a mission-based runner-style game with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and others, available in 12 languages via the Apple App Store and Google Play. In addition to the game, the app features the latest episodes of DC Kids as well as animated videos from the DC universe, comic books, the latest DC news and more.
