EDMOND — Kindergarten preregistration will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 22-23 at all Edmond elementary schools except Russell Dougherty and Clegern, which are open-enrollment schools. Parents of children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 should register at the neighborhood schools in their attendance areas. School boundaries can be found by going to the parents/students tab on the district website and selecting enrollment, according to a news release.

Parents should bring the following items:

Two proofs of residency: a current gas, electricity or water and sewer bill and a mortgage contract, deed or lease agreement.

Legal birth certificate: a certificate issued by the state or county where the child was born.

Immunization record: Oklahoma school immunization law requires records provided by a licensed physician or public health authority that clearly indicates which immunizations have been received, the dates they were administered and the signature or stamp of the physician or health clinic that administered the immunizations or interpreted the immunization history.

For more information, call 340-2277, email jan.harris@edmondschools.net or go to your neighborhood school.
