Shooting suspect's car found in Pottawatomie County

A car belonging to a suspect in two killings in Norman was found Monday morning in Pottawatomie County, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Department reported.

From the sheriff's department:

“Our office along with with multiple other agencies are current involved in an active manhunt in the area of Bethel Road and Highland Road in Tecumseh after a Norman murder suspects vehicle was located at this location. Norman Police Department Detectives are on scene and have confirmed the vehicle to be of suspect Timothy Deffner a white male approximately 5’10” tall. It is believed he was headed in a Northwest direction from the area and is armed with a rifle and is considered armed and dangerous.

Law Enforcement will heavy saturate the area and if anyone observes anyone matching the description of the Timothy Deffner imediately call 911 do not attempt to approach him”
