First National - A New Hope

Folks downtown yesterday saw the first hint of a new hope (forgive me for stealing from Star Wars) for First National when flags once again flew where they had been absent for several years. Then last night downtown was treated to a light show that included the lighting of spire beacon.

Yes, First National is finally, after almost 20 years, owned by a local developer. 

I will be sharing some thoughts and observations over the next couple of days. For now, enjoy this hint of what we can hope will be better times ahead.
