Women's boutique returns to downtown Oklahoma City
After closing its doors earlier this year, 200 Park for Her has returned to downtown's Robinson Renaissance building, 119 N Robinson Ave. Suite 140.
Store owner Jan Smith closed the boutique in February to travel more with her husband, but she missed the store and said she had former customers asking her to come back.
After looking at other areas of Oklahoma City, Smith said she decided to return to downtown Oklahoma City because she feels the area needs more retail.
"Everything kept telling me I needed to be back downtown, I would come down here and people would ask 'are you coming back? We need retail down here,'" Smith said.
The boutique now features some men's clothing, including denim and casual wear.
"It's 200 Park for Her with a little for him now as well," Smith said.
With its proximity to downtown hotels, Smith said she gets customers from around the world.
"We get a lot of out-of-town people on the weekends and the women have their husbands with them, and so I thought we would give them a little something as well," Smith said.

Smith launched 200 Park for Her to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning a store. A confessed shopaholic, Smith has always had a passion for clothes.
"I thought it would be better for me to be behind the counter instead of in front of the counter," she said.
