KOA offers fall promotions

Summer's just about over but if you're interested in squeezing in a fall camping  trip before the weather gets too cold, Kampgrounds of America (more commonly known as KOA) has you covered with some promotions and a friendly reminder that many of their campgrounds are close to points of interest, including National Parks.

The fall promotions include events at campgrounds like chili-cook offs and trick or treating at many of the company's campgrounds. Some KOA's are hosting a Haunted Halloween on Oct. 29 and Thanksgiving themed events in November. For a list of events check here.

KOA also offers cabin rentals for those not willing to brave the outdoors, including some with private bathrooms.

There are four KOA campgrounds in Oklahoma. And elsewhere, the company has 185 campgrounds located within 50 miles of a U.S. National Park, or National Seashore.
