EDMOND — Edmond Santa Fe High School played its first game in the school's new football stadium and came out victorious.

The opening game in the new Wolves Stadium was a 10-3 victory over Edmond North High School, in front of an estimated crowd of 8,000 on Friday night.

Santa Fe students have a theme for each game. The theme for last week's match was "Edlam/Neon," said Jason Hayes, Edmond Santa Fe principal.

"That is why some students were wearing our student section shirts and others were wearing neon attire, including the bright yellow and orange safety vests," Hayes said.
