EDMOND — Edmond's first Cardboard Boat Regatta was first held in 2009 and continues to be an event for hearty and fearless challengers.

All types of homemade boats were created and constructed entirely of corrugated cardboard for Saturday's competition at Arcadia Lake.

The Cardboard Regatta is sponsored by Edmond's Parks and Recreation Department.
