5 ways to spend the summer in Oklahoma
Summer has arrived. For the next few months, days will be longer, warmer and filled with a desire for adventure. Festivals, travel and endless snow cones are among us. We have compiled a list of activities to take up the hot Oklahoma days. Here are five things to do in Oklahoma this summer.
1. Myriad Botanical Gardens Summer Events
With full moon bike rides, yoga and Shakespeare in the park, the Myriad Gardens is packed with many outdoor activities.

Historic downtown Guthrie features a 90-minute tour highlighting the town's most active sites for paranormal activity.
Porter, Oklahoma will be hosting its 50th annual peach festival from July 14-16. The event will be filled with food, music, shopping and plenty of peaches.
5. Turner Falls
As Oklahoma's largest waterfall, Turner falls has a great deal of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping and swimming.
