Quail Creek Run set for Saturday

Quail Creek, the northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood, continues its march towards restoring 24 of its entrances. This weekend’s Quail Creek Run joins recent events such as a home tour, golf tournament and Fall Festival in an effort to raise money for the neighborhood beautification plan.

Sierra Snowden, member of The Creek Run committee, joined us in studio this afternoon to provide details. You can watch an interview with her in the video above. Snowden, a realtor with Metro First, outlined the ongoing plan that includes two dozen neighborhood entrances in need of an update with new landscaping and lighting. Quail Creek is bordered by Hefner Road, NW 122nd Street and May Avenue. It has around 1,600 residents and the community includes a country club, school, swimming pool, tennis courts and walking trails. Raising money for improvements is led by the Quail Creek Community Foundation.
