We learned last week via Brandy McDonnell's always fine reporting, and extensive blogging, that an open house will be held this Saturday at Castle Row Studios, 2908 Epperly Drive in Del City, followed by a master class instructed by Steven Durr.

The 10,600 square foot facility features three recording studios and other multi-purpose production rooms, serves as a live performance venue and is home to a Hammond organ with Leslie cabinet. In its previous life, the location housed Del City Music and Woodside Studios. That recording studio was operated by Bob Wood, a country musician and producer who worked with Oklahomans Vince Gill and Reba McEntire.
