Flashback: The Jones Assembly

Sometimes the process of finding historical photos involves giving up the hunt, lingering around, and seeing if one's prey pops out when you're not expecting it. As 21c Museum Hotel opens today, attention will shift, somewhat, to the cool projects that are going on around this wonderful addition to downtown.

Work has been ongoing with the home of the future Jones Assembly, a great example of smart branding for what will be a restaurant and outdoor performance venue and bar. Over the past few months we've been treated to a couple of glimpses of the work going on inside the Jones Assembly. 

The following two photos show the creation of the mezzanine level in the corner building at 901 W Sheridan Ave.:

And this will, when done, look like this:

Oh wait. Did I mention I quit looking for historic photos of the 901 W Sheridan building and it was only then I stumbled into them?
