Fiorina to be keynote speaker at Oklahoma Republican Gala
Businesswoman and former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina will be the keynote speaker at the Oklahoma Republican Party’s annual Gala dinner next month.
Fiorina, who was chosen by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as his running mate for the presidency on Wednesday, campaigned on her business experience as former president of Hewlett-Packard, a company she led from 1999 to 2005. She also ran unsuccessfully for Senate in California in 2010 against Democrat Barbara Boxer.
Pam Pollard, Chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party, said she is excited to have Fiorina headline the event.
“Mrs. Fiorina’s ideas about how to reform Washington and get our economy moving again are exactly what Oklahomans talk to me about every day," Pollard said. "We’re really thrilled she’s going to be our keynote speaker.”
The Oklahoma Republican Party’s annual Gala Dinner will be held May 13 at the Skirvin Hilton, 1 Park Avenue, in Downtown Oklahoma City. A 6:00 p.m reception will be followed by a 7 p.m. dinner.
