- Evangelist Joyce Meyer's ministry conference begins tonight, April 14, in downtown Oklahoma City.
Contemporary Christian recording artist and worship leader Kari Jobe will lead worship at the evangelism event.
The conference is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 14; 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, April 15, and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16 at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens.
Admission is free. No registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
Doors will open two hours prior to each session.
Meyer considered the late evangelist and Oklahoma native Oral Roberts a respected friend and she has an honorary doctorate of divinity degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.
She previously conducted a three-day conference in downtown Oklahoma City in 2005 and the next year, she served as a guest speaker at Church of the Harvest's Momentum Conference.
Meyer, known for her forthright preaching and teaching style, can be seen and heard on her “Enjoying Everyday Life” television and radio programs.
In 2015, she was No. 9 on Newsmax's annual list of the top 100 Christian leaders in America.
