OKC 1991, OKC 2016 - Mark Klett, Time to Revisit our Town
I've always been fascinated by a long out-of-print photo book featuring the work of Mark Klett. His "Photographing Oklahoma 1889/1991" captured a very different Oklahoma City - one that was still hit hard by the 1980s oil bust. His photos show just how much has changed, and also serve as a reminder that we are far stronger, far better off to face the current downturn. I don't know what arrangements led to Mark Klett doing this book in 1991, but I'd love to see him come back for an update.
