VIDEO: Obama announces plans to appoint Scalia replacement 'in due time'
President Barack Obama announced Saturday evening that he would appoint a U.S. Supreme Court justice "in due time" to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, who died Saturday at age 79.
Any nominee Obama appoints may not make it far. Several Republican Senators have argued that Scalia's replacement should be named by the next president.
