Gathering of Nations: Another fun thing to do in New Mexico

New Mexico is a fairly popular draw for Oklahomans looking for trips relatively close to home. Santa Fe is a cool city. There is plenty of wilderness to explore in the northern regions.  Albuquerque is the home of Breaking Bad and also the Gathering of Nations, a three-day Native American themed event that will be held April 28-30 this year.

Now in its 33rd year, the Gathering of Nations is billed as the largest gathering of native and indigenous people in the world. About 3,000 Native American singers and dancers wearing traditional regalia and more than 800 Native American artisans and craftsmen will be selling and displaying their work.
