YMCA Military Welcome Center to host hundreds of traveling soldiers

Hundreds of soldiers will pass through the YMCA Military Welcome Center at Will Rogers World Airport on their way home for the holidays. We received footage from the YMCA today as servicemen and women stationed at Fort Sill arrived just after midnight. Thanks to the YMCA's Brenda Bennett and her crew for providing the interviews and footage.

According to a release by the YMCA, "volunteers and military service organizations staff the YMCA Military Welcome Center during the block leave event. Volunteers will greet soldiers and make them comfortable as they spend the night in the airport awaiting flights."

The YMCA provides many cool opportunities to young and old throughout the community. This is another annual service that perhaps isn't well known by the public.
