Paul Ryan noodled and married in Oklahoma
WASHINGTON _ U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, who will likely become House speaker next week, may be the only member of Congress who has caught catfish with his hands in Oklahoma.
Ryan, R-Wisc., an avid outdoorsman, talked about it at a State Chamber gathering in Washington two years ago.
Members of the Oklahoma congressional delegation like to bring the well-known Ryan to state-related events because of his strong connection: he's married to a native Oklahoman, Janna Little, of Madill.
At the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL, where Ryan was nominated as the vice presidential candidate, Ryan's brother told a story about the wedding in OKC, which occurred during the Big 12 championship football game.
