Delta Airlines to offer employees something unusual

Some would say airline employees can be cranky from time to time. But since they deal with the public all day long, it's hard to blame them.

But Delta is making life a little easier for its employees in at least three airports with the addition of spas for employees. Services range from discounted massages, hair styling and nail care to uniform alteration.

The first SkySpa is slated to open in Salt Lake City next month.

Delta is walking tall these days. The spa announcement comes on the heels of a 15 percent across the board pay raise to its employees as the company continues to enjoy record profits.

As long as fuel prices remain low and customer demand remains high, life is good in the airline industry.
