How to get along with flight attendants

Not long ago I struck up a conversation with a Delta flight attendant on a flight from Atlanta to OKC about her day and where they were flying to next. On the back row of an MD88 with two large engines on each side of you it was a way to take my mind off the fact that my knee caps were slowly being crushed.

I'm a commercial aviation geek, so it was cool to hear a little bit about her job. As she described her day it struck me how difficult the job of a flight attendant is. First, you have to deal with the public which is often deeply unpleasant. But there's also a fair amount of on your feet work, and stress.

Yahoo! Travel  takes a look at how to get on the good side of a flight attendant and it's an interesting read. Who knew they love it when people bring them homemade treats? Who knew you could get said treats past TSA without them thinking you're bringing something more nefarious on board.
