Disturbing facts about domestic violence in Oklahoma

New statistics show that for the second year in a row, Oklahoma ranks third in the nation for the number of women killed by men in domestic violence situations. Here are some more statistics about domestic violence in Oklahoma and how to get help.

Police answer about 120 domestic violence calls a week.

"A 10-year study by the Oklahoma Domestic Violence Fatality Review Task Force found 41 percent of all homicides in our state were linked to domestic violence,” - YWCA OKC Chief Executive Officer Jan Peery
