Legends in the house

The Michael Jackson impersonator from the Legends in Concert show in Branson was at The Oklahoman to promote the show.

Branson is a popular place for Oklahomans to visit. It's close, and it's relatively cheap in comparison to Orlando and above all, it's family friendly.

Having seen the Legends show it's probably my favorite in Branson. Obviously it's not the same as the real thing, but it's fun on some other levels. The cast changes from time to time,  but regardless who's performing it's a pretty fun way to spend a couple of hours.

And it's not just a Branson thing anymore. The company that owns it also has shows in Las Vegas, Hawaii and Myrtle Beach, SC among other places. It also recently brought its act onto several Norwegian Cruise Line ships.

Here's a clip of some of the legends in action.

As for Michael's visit to The Oklahoman offices it was a nice way to break up the afternoon. He showed everyone how to moon walk and talked about some of the challenges playing the role in an impromptu Q and A.
