What about all the good things cops do? (Like this brilliant idea)

We've all been there: You find a good deal for something on craigslist or on a local Facebook buy/sell/trade group, but you're not sure where to meet the person to get the deal done.

Most people opt to meet in a public, well-lit and traveled place. Like a grocery store or a gas station.

But some lucky cities have another option: The "citizen exchange safety zone" at the local police department. Like the one pictured below in La Porte, Texas:
