New members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame introduced at a luncheon
Jane Jayroe Gamble introduced the new members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Jane Jayroe Gamble introduced the eight new members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame at a luncheon at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum and told about why they were chosen. They are Kevin Durant, Bill Hancock, Mike Larsen, Jim Halsey, Sharen Jester Turney, Bill Ross, Steadman Upham and the late Francis Tuttle. They will be inducted at a banquet on Nov. 19th at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Tulsa. On the program were Shannon Rich, President and CEO, Joe Moran III, Chairman, Neal McCaleb and Nancy Ellis.
Also asked to stand and be recognized were former honorees of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame who attended the luncheon for the new inductees including Lee Allan Smith, Nancy Ellis, Jose Freede, Bill Durrett, Dr. Ron White, Judy Love, Vicki Miles-LaGrange, Polly Nichols, Bill Paul, Tom McDaniel, Bob Burke, Anita Bryant, Harold Hamm, George Henderson, Glen Johnson. All of the members wore their Oklahoma Hall of Fame medallions.

On the program were Nancy Ellis who reported about scholarships and Shannon Rich, Oklahoma Hall of Fame President.
