In case you missed it: the Earth Walk

About this time yesterday, a small crowd of people gathered at the Oklahoma United Methodist headquarters for “A Walk for Earth.”

Participants gathered for music and remarks before they set out on the

short walk through the campus of Oklahoma City University.

The walk was held in conjunction with Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22.

Local schools, colleges and houses of worship were encouraged to participate in the event coordinated by the Peace House of Oklahoma City, the Sierra Club and other groups.

I took a few photos, which I’m sharing here.
