Train with us for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon
Plan on running in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon this year? If so, training is of the utmost importance. That’s why we’re asking all of you to participate in a four-week Instagram fitness challenge with us to get ready for the race. We’ve also partnered with Red Coyote Running and Fitness to award two $150 gift cards to the top winners of our challenge.
Here’s how it works:
-Week 1 (March 2-8): Post a photo of scenery, buildings or objects you see while running. Use the tag #seenonokrun and tag us @news_ok.
-Week 2 (March 9-15): Snap a screenshot of your best time or mile on an app or map. Use the tag #mybestmile and tag us @news_ok.
-Week 3 (March 16-22): Take an #OKRunfie (a running selfie) and tag us @news_ok.
-Week 4 (March 23-30): Use a photo and caption to tell us why you are running in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Use the tag #runtoremember15 and tag us @news_ok.
In early April, we’ll select and announce the winners.
