Charles Jewell holds the new lake record on Lake Murray, a 12.3-pound largemouth

Now here is proof. Healdton angler Charles Jewell caught a 12.3-pound largemouth bass Wednesday on Lake Murrary that is the new record for the reservoir near Ardmore.
Jewell caught the fish on a swim bait and later released it.
