One Restaurant to Rule them all! Made in Oklahoma pits eateries against each other for a good cause

Because we are no longer to consider food and/or restaurants without pitting them against each other, The Made in Oklahoma Coalition has asked for the help of the dining public to cast their vote for the Restaurant of the Year.

The contest includes restaurants across the state and are members of the Made in Oklahoma Coalition. A dozen restaurants are finalists for the inaugural award.

Finalists include:
o Jazmo'z Bourbon Street Caf?, Oklahoma City
o Jimmy's Egg, All Oklahoma locations
o Legend's Restaurant, Norman
o SMOKE on Cherry Street, Tulsa
o The Mule, Oklahoma City
o Waffle Champion, Oklahoma City
o Back Door BBQ, Oklahoma City
o Cheever's Caf?, Oklahoma City
o City Bites, All Oklahoma locations
o Crabtown, Oklahoma City
o District 21 Restaurant, Oklahoma City
o Pete's Place, Krebs
As you can see, the choices are all over the place from breakfast to dinner, from fast-food to fine dining. I wouldn’t dare tell anyone how to vote, but I can certainly tell you where, here.

Voting continues through March 15. This is a case where you can vote early and often. Well, once a day from now through the Ides of March. Winner will be announced the final week of March.

Restaurants for 'Restaurant of the Year' were selected by the Made in Oklahoma Coalition based on their commitment to carry and use MIO products in their restaurants and recipes. The winning restaurant will receive a $1,000 dollar donation to the Regional Food Bank in the winning restaurant's name.
