Leading the musical selections was Ronnye Sharp on the piano. Sharp was Fallin’s piano teacher. The Crossings Community Church Choir sang “Praise His Holy Name” and “Through It All” and “Because He Lives” and the Ambassadors Concert Choir sang “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”, “Steal Away to Jesus” and “Order My Steps” . Sandy Patty Pelis and her husband Don Pelis sang “The Prayer.” Dennis Jernigan sang a medley.
Pastor Marty Grubbs of Crossings Community Church gave the invocation and welcome, the sermon and prayer for the state and nation and introduced his longtime friend Gov.
