A Closer Look at Proposed Paseo Development

In today’s Oklahoman, I reported on a proposal by former Rise co-developer Jeremy Foraker and Paseo restauranteur Sean Fiaconne to build a two-story building at NW 28 and Walker. The lot has long been an eyesore gateway for an otherwise stunning district – really the predecessor for every urban district that the city now celebrates.

The designs submitted to the city’s Urban Design Committee give us an idea of what this project will look like – but we will really need to wait on completion of the more formal renderings to fully understand what this building might look like.

Stucco is the proposed exterior material – which would be in keeping with the district’s design. Looking at the application, it’s difficult to say what the roof might look like. The building definitely has more windows than typically seen in Paseo.
