Ah, heck no: Plane takes off as tornado touches down behind it

Twitter user Robbie Kane (@robbiekane74) shared an image with the world earlier today of a plane taking off as a tornado was touching down behind it. The plane was headed for Spain as it departed East Midlands Airport in England.

Apparently the ‘nader wasn’t as close as it appears in the photo, but it’s still a terrifying sight, nevertheless. The United Kingdom has been getting a heap of rough weather in the past couple of weeks, thanks to the leftovers of Hurricane Bertha and some cooler-than-normal temperatures.
