Will New Flatiron Renderings Get Green Light From Urban Renewal?

It looks like the redevelopment of the long empty Flatiron building at N 6th and Harrison Avenue has undergone yet another tweak on its way to being redeveloped by Chuck Ainsworth for PLICO (an insurance company). An additional third floor is being added to add boardroom and executive “function” space. The Urban Renewal Authority board is being asked to approve the schematic renderings at their meeting on Wednesday and to give Urban Renewal director Cathy O’Connor authority to review and approve final drawings in the interest of “keeping the project on track.”
