A look at forecast for rain chances

From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:

“Rain will become more widespread this afternoon, with the highest rain chances across

southeast and south central Oklahoma and north central Texas.

“Scattered thunderstorms will occur.

“A few of these storms could become strong/severe across parts of southern and central Oklahoma

and western north Texas, producing hail up to the size of half dollars,

wind gusts to 60 mph, and heavy rain. Minor flooding could also occur in some areas.”
