A storm system will bring another chance of rain and snow to Oklahoma and western north Texas this weekend.
A mix of rain and snow will be possible across northern Oklahoma tonight into Saturday, with mainly rain elsewhere.
Some light snow accumulations may occur over northern Oklahoma. Check back for updates to the forecast.
Following is the forecast for Oklahoma City from the National Weather Service, Norman:
Today Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. South wind 16 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Tonight A 30 percent chance of rain after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. South wind 7 to 12 mph becoming north 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
Saturday Rain and snow likely, becoming all rain after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind 11 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. North northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Monday Sunny, with a high near 74.

So far Kenton in the Panhandle has had the warmest temperature today. That’s interesting because it may be rather cold there tonight. The Panhandle is in a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 p.m. this evening to 9 a.m. CST Saturday, according to the National Weather Service, Amarillo, Texas.
