Temperatures continue to rise and drop ...
From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:
“We’re going to ride one wild roller coaster of temperatures through the end of the week into the weekend. Highs in the 30s on Wednesday will give way to 60s and 70s on Friday and then into the 20s by Monday.
“A disturbance may result in light precipitation across parts of northern and central Oklahoma late tonight into Friday morning. Light sleet may mix with the light rain across far northern Oklahoma, however no appreciable impacts are anticipated. Lows tonight will dip into the upper 30s and lower 40s for most locations, except for far north central and northeastern Oklahoma, where temperatures will dip into the mid 30s.
“Wintry precipitation chances will return Saturday night into Sunday as a shallow cold air mass returns to the region. It’s too far out for specifics, but much of the region has a good chance at seeing precipitation Sunday. Forecasts change, so stay weather aware, and continue to check our web-page for the most up to date information.”
