The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a winter
weather advisory for light freezing drizzle and freezing fog…which
is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.
* Timing: through 9 am this morning.
* Main impact: Patchy light freezing drizzle and freezing fog will
fill in through 6 am…and will continue through 9 am.
* Other impacts: Freezing drizzle and freezing fog may lead to a
light glaze of ice on elevated surfaces…including bridges and
overpasses.

Be careful if you have to travel. Even small amounts of ice and
snow can make roads and sidewalks slick and dangerous.

late morning. total snow accumulations will remain below 1

fog…will result in a thin layer of ice developing on elevated
surfaces and some roadways…especially on bridges and
overpasses…through the morning hours.

A fast moving upper storm system will begin to move over the area this evening, bringing light to moderate snow to portions of northern and central Oklahoma overnight and a mix of light freezing rain, rain, and sleet to southern Oklahoma and western north Texas. Snow will begin in northwest Oklahoma and develop south and east into central Oklahoma by Midnight.
Snow will continue to fill into portions of central and southern Oklahoma and western north Texas through the morning and afternoon hours on Tuesday. Some accumulation is likely, especially over southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas where heavier snow is expected.
