Winter weather in the forecast from the National Weather Service, Tulsa Forecast Office

The National Weather Service, Tulsa Forecast Office’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook”

says, “The weather pattern will become much more unsettled through early
next week with several opportunities for winter weather.

“A cold front will move into the area Friday with enough moisture present
to bring a limited threat of freezing rain or drizzle during the
morning across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
Currently, any ice amounts are expected to remain light.

“A series of disturbances will then move through over the weekend
as the frontal boundary remains in place, with potential for ice
accumulations north of the boundary Saturday.

“This will be followed by another wave Sunday which may bring more accumulating
snow or ice.

“Finally, a stronger system is expected to impact much of the area Tuesday with accumulating snow or ice.”
