Following the forecast for winter precip

Wondering about the upcoming wintry weather? Following is the

National Weather Service, Norman’s latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook:”

“There is a chance of freezing drizzle and light freezing rain
across parts of northern, central and eastern Oklahoma Friday night and Saturday morning. Some very light ice
accumulations may occur, causing slick spots on area roadways.

“A storm system will bring a chance of rain and snow to Oklahoma
and western north Texas on Sunday, with accumulating snow possible
over portions of central and southern Oklahoma, and western north

“Another round of winter weather will impact Oklahoma and
western north Texas late Monday into Tuesday. Hazardous travel
conditions will likely develop over portions of these areas, but
specifics on possible snow amounts remains uncertain. Check back
frequently for updates and possible changes to the forecast.”
