Post-Springer era begins tonight
Former state commerce secretary Dave Lopez will make his debut as interim superintendent of Oklahoma City Public Schools at tonight’s regularly scheduled board meeting.
Lopez succeeds Karl Springer, whose last day as superintendent was Friday. Lopez is expected to give board members an update on district enrollment numbers.
The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. in the district’s administration building auditorium, 900 N. Klein Ave. I will be tweeting from the meeting. Follow me at @timwillert1
