Emeril Lagasse, one of the most successful chefs in television history, is coming to the Dillard’s Department store in Penn Square Mall on Dec. 10.

Owner of a dozen restaurants and best-selling cookbook author, will start the day at 4 p.m. for 45-minute cooking demonstration in  which Emeril will teach customers how to “kick it up a notch” for the holidays.

Attendees will be able to interact with him during an on-stage question and answer session. The demonstration is free and open to the public, however, a limited number of seats are available  first-come, first-served.

After a short break, Emeril will sign copies from 5 to 8 p.m. of his cookbooks purchased during the event. Exclusive to this event, customers will receive a complimentary copy of Emeril’s new cookbook “Farm to Fork” with any Emeril cookware purchase of $99 or more.

Emeril has hosted more than 2,000 episodes of shows like ”Emeril Live!” and “Essence of Emeril” on Food Network. He is food correspondent for ABC’s “Good Morning America.” In July, he launched his latest program with the Cooking Channel, “Fresh Food Fast,” which concentrates on fresh, local food preparations. He also hosts “Emeril Green,” an original series exploring fresh and seasonal ingredients, which airs on Discovery Channel’s Planet Green.

Emeril also has a live, call-in radio show, “Cooking with Emeril,” which airs twice weekly exclusively on Martha Stewart Living Radio on SIRIUS XM. Chef Emeril Lagasse is the chef/proprietor of 12 restaurants. Emeril  joined the Martha Stewart family of brands in 2008.  Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia  acquired  his television programming, cookbooks, and and his licensed kitchen and food products.
