Another brick in the NewsOK Story Wall

We’re actually up to Story Wall No. 4 now. And the latest example of the NewsOK Story Wall technique comes from the Bedlam football game in Norman on Saturday.

We started with a Story Wall from the Oklahoma State Fair. That was fun.

Then we did a Story Wall on the OU-Texas football game. That was even more fun.

Both experiences were so cool that we decided to try one in our own backyard — the Boy Scout Camporee on the OPUBCO grounds. That was enlightening.

But we really pulled one off this weekend. This time, we had 80 blocks of content displayed on our Bedlam football Story Wall. But each time you refresh the page, you can get more blocks of content that you didn’t see on the first 80 blocks. Basically, we had so much good content — photos, videos, text musings, chat posts, etc. — that we flooded the wall and ran into the overflow annex.

Check out the Bedlam Story Wall. These are fun to produce and fun to browse.

And more importantly, they achieve our stated purpose … to experience an event “through an ever-changing kaleidoscope of movies, photos, sound and text.”
