Man uses chainsaw to cut through front door during beer dispute
Police arrested a chainsaw-toting New Zealand man after he cut through a front door and threatened a woman during a dispute over beer.
The incident started when the man and woman became involved in a dispute over a box of Steinlager beer, a popular New Zealand beverage. The man then allegedly picked up a recently sharpened chainsaw and cut through a front door of a Hikurangi home Thursday, according to the New Zealand Herald.
"The man then allegedly approached the woman with the chainsaw still idling, police say. She threw a takeaway sign at the man who proceeded to chainsaw it in half."
So was a case of beer really worth all of the trouble? More importantly, how many were in the box?
