Man arrested in northeast Oklahoma City shooting, attempted carjacking
Police arrested a man accused of shooting two people early Sunday during an attempted carjacking in northeast Oklahoma City.
Lt. Don Holland said three people were in a vehicle stopped at a stop sign shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at NE 33 Street and N Lottie Avenue. A man approached the vehicle from behind and started shooting. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The third person in the car was not hit and was able to identify the shooter, who was also struck by gunfire, police said.
Terez Hog, 20, was taken into custody shortly after the shooting. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, Holland said.
Hog was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of robbery with a firearm and failure to appear in reference to a previous robbery with a firearm, a jailer said.
